We give clients the confidence to create the futures they want.
How we deliver value
We work in partnership to plan, grow and protect clients’ financial futures, delivered by a team of highly skilled advisers within the St. James’s Place Partnership.
We operate a fee-based income model where we receive fees based on the level of client funds under management.
Supporting great client outcomes
For us, there is no such thing as a 'typical' client. They range in age from babies to centenarians and they each face unique challenges in planning for their financial futures. What unites our clients is their desire for trusted, personal advice.
Our existing client base is made up of:
17% of new clients in the first half of 2025 were under the age of 30. We serve an increasing proportion of younger clients with their long-term financial planning and wealth management needs, aided by a client proposition with broad appeal and our appointing younger advisers into the Partnership: in the first half of 2025, 39% of our newly-appointed advisers were under the age of 35.
Delivering for the Partnership: fundamental to our business model
Central to our business model is our belief in the importance of the long-term relationship between our advisers and their clients.
We focus on attracting the highest quality of financial advisers to our Partnership and helping them to establish and maintain long-lasting, trusted relationships with their clients. We do this by enabling, supporting and empowering our advisers to provide sound financial planning advice, with the benefit of our distinct investment management approach.
We'll continue to grow the Partnership by attracting experienced advisers through our traditional recruitment channels. We’re also increasing the capability of our Academy, which gives individuals the professional training and experience necessary to become financial advisers.

Managing clients’ investments
We’re focused on giving clients the confidence to create the futures they want by planning, growing and protecting their wealth over time.
Our approach to investment management gives clients diversification and expertise on a global scale that is beyond many wealth managers. We design and build our own range of investment funds and portfolios, but we contract some of the world’s best external managers to manage them. We also offer our clients discretionary fund management and stockbroking services through Rowan Dartington, a wholly owned subsidiary of St. James's Place, giving them even greater choice and flexibility.
The value of an investment with St. James's Place or Rowan Dartington may fall as well as rise. You may get back less than you invested.
